Azevedo

The Vinho Verdes region is the biggest Portuguese wine region. Situated in the north-west of Portugal, it is flanked by the Minho river in the north, which separates Portugal from Galiza; by the Atlantic Ocean in the west, and by mountains to the south that mark the boundary beyond which lies the Douro region.
 
In the Vinho Verde region, Sogrape intuitively opted for a strategy of producing wines of quality using the most noble grape varieties of each region, implementing the best available winemaking techniques.

Huge qualitative strides have been made, in relation to production processes at Quinta de Azevedo. From the vineyard to the winery, every effort is made to respond to new consumer trends and to maximize the potential of each traditional grape variety, including the Loureiro, and the Alvarinho, which is widely regarded as the best Portuguese white grape variety and the most famous internationally
